IMC play it cool

The two models, a single and a double-door version, work hard to keep bottles at the perfect temperature and attract sales

The IMCool C60 and C90 bottle coolers from IMC offer a stylish and practical addition to the back bar. Launched at The Professional Kitchen Show, the two models – a single and a double-door version – work hard to keep bottles at the perfect temperature and attract sales.

Holding either 135 (C60) or 206 (C90) bottles, the coolers have a robust, black cabinet body, with a choice of stainless steel, black or painted silver double-glazed and lockable glass doors. The single door model also benefits from fully reversible hinges to suit the bar area.

The units maintain an internal temperature of between 2°C and 8°C, and also feature fan assisted cooling for rapid temperature decrease, an auto defrost function, plus simple user-friendly digital controls and display. Internal lighting makes it easy to see the stock on the two adjustable wire shelves.

Build quality

“Reaction to the new bottle coolers was universally positive,” says Helen Applewhite, marketing manager for the IMC and Lincat brands. “Visitors were particularly impressed with the build quality. For example, many commented on the fact that unlike most other bottle coolers at this price point IMCool units have stainless steel handles, rather than plastic.”

Measuring 900mm (h) x 600mm (w) x 500mm (d) for the single door model, and 900mm (h) x 900mm (w) x 500mm (d) for the wider two-door unit, the cabinets are simple to clean, and have sturdy feet for easy positioning. They also come with a two-year warranty for peace of mind.
