As a consultant, Christine has assisted with tendering and monitoring of catering services, quality, health and safety reviews, and various aspects of business development. She has also delivered a variety of bespoke training seminars on subjects such as catering performance management, food hygiene and customer care.

A graduate of the University of Surrey, Christine Puttick’s professional career began with the largest local authority in the UK. Later, she established thriving retail sales outlets for two major charities and subsequently worked for one of the largest high street retailers, where she was responsible for building the highest turnover to date for the retail catering operation. Under her management, it was recognised as a ‘centre of excellence’ and became a training site for the group’s under-performing operations. Since joining Merritt-Harrison Catering Consultancy in 2008, Christine has undertaken a wide range of projects and her particular strengths are quality monitoring, training and tender evaluation. She is a professional member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International, a member of the Institute of Hospitality and a personal licence holder.
