The accolade was collected in Vienna, during the FCSI EAME 2017 conference focusing on ‘Food and Hospitality of the Future’. The conference was attended by more than 200 specialist planners and consultants in professional hotel, restaurant and large-scale catering kitchen design, working across the key markets of the UK, France, Germany and Italy.
The distinction, which lasts for two years, was awarded for innovation in Hobart’s class-leading FTPi and FTNi flight type machines. Both are equipped with the highly unique, patented twinLINE system, which makes it possible to wash the usual ware in the machine, while trays are simultaneously washed on a separate conveyor without changing the footprint. The result yields a time saving of some 30% allied to a remarkable increase in capacity.
“We are delighted to accept this award from the FCSI. It is confirmation that our efforts in never taking a backwards step in terms of innovation and R&D have been noted. The accolade is made even sweeter, coming as it does from a collection of specialist planners and consultants for kitchen technology from around the globe. True experts in their field,” says Tim Bender, sales director of Hobart Warewashing UK.
