Recorded at the new Middleby Innovation Kitchen in Germany, this consultant-led panel addresses sustainable foodservice

FCSI’s Innovation In The Kitchen video series, supported by Middleby, recorded a new episode on June 4, 2025, live at the new Middleby Innovation Kitchen in Olching, Germany. The panel addressed the role of sustainability in the future of the foodservice sector. From reducing waste, to ethical sourcing and mindful consumption, to embodied carbon measurement across the value chain, the panel focused on the shift towards more sustainable practices and how innovation is helping operators, manufacturers and consultants alike to achieve their goals. 

Participants were consultants Khaled Halabi FCSI, Cinilittle; Vinoo Mehera FCSI, promaFox; Danny Potter FCSI, Invito; Shaun Sterland FCSI, CSS; plus Meghan Daro, The Middleby Corporation, while Michael Jones, editorial director, FCSI’s Foodservice Consultant, moderated the session.
