Maximising efficiency

The FCSI Asia Pacific Division’s inaugural Foodservice Innovation Event aimed to share, support and inspire foodservice businesses with innovative processes in a relaxed learning environment with peers from the hospitality and healthcare industries. The theme of the event was ‘Maximising efficiency using cook-chill technology’ with the following benefits:

  • Consistent food quality
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Better labour and energy utilisation
  • Provide a more flexible and efficient service delivery
  • Versatile use to offer contemporary Australian and Asian dishes and smoked meats in both small and large scale operations.

The event was attended by various interested industry peers. Some of the attendees included the executive chef of a leading 5-star hotel in Perth, the catering manager of the second largest Hospital in WA, the F&B manager of the largest not for profit aged care provider in WA and restaurant business owners and operators.
