LOCAL CHAPTER OF FCSI DONATES $15,000

The Northeast chapter of FCSI celebrated their 13th annual Holiday Social, donating $15,000 to the Massachusetts non-profit, Community Servings

Held at Davio’s in downtown Boston, the sold-out event was attended by more than 100 industry colleagues and guests from the Northeast area and beyond. Community Servings’ executive chef, Kevin Conner was on hand to accept this year’s donation. “We are so grateful for our partnership with the Northeast chapter of FCSI for not just their financial support but also for giving us the platform to spread the message of Community Servings,” he says.

Nutritious and appealing meals

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program that provides services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families who are living with critical and chronic illnesses. Each day preparing and delivering lunch, dinner and a snack to 1,600 individuals and their families across 300 square miles throughout Massachusetts. In order to meet their clients’ needs they cater to dietary restrictions, providing for 17 special diets. Not only do their clients receive nutritious and appealing meals but also the message that someone cares about them.
