Originating from Vancouver, Canada, Ben began his career in the hospitality industry in various operational roles at world-class golf resorts and international hotels. After earning a degree in Hotel Management, Ben’s career trajectory took him to China, where he served in various roles in Food & Beverage with Starwood Hotels. In 2012 Ben joined CKP Hospitality Consultants as Regional Manager of their Shanghai office, managing foodservice design projects across Greater China with international hotel brands, convention centres and independent bars & restaurants. He transitioned his career in 2017 where he relocated to Kuala Lumpur as Vice President at CKP Hospitality Consultants, leading foodservice design and F&B concept development across China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. In 2020, he founded LEVELS, a hospitality creative agency focused on hospitality strategy, concept development and branding services. Ben has been fortunate to collaborate with some of the world's best architects, designers, developers and operators and has successfully launched over 250 bars and restaurants during his career.
