Winholt is proud, honored and excited to be celebrating its 75th Anniversary in 2021, a milestone in the company’s already solid foundation.
Winholt was founded in 1946 after World War II by Irving Holtz and his brother Mannie Holtz; they were one of the first suppliers of shopping carts to the original supermarkets in America. They grew the business over the years with the addition of the company’s now chairman, Jonathan J. Holtz.
A lot has changed over the years; today the company is a global manufacturer of high-quality solution-based equipment: E-commerce, supply chain picking, distribution center, foodservice, food handling, and material handling. Winholt supplies equipment solutions to supermarkets, big box retailers, restaurants, foodservice chains, supply chain industries and ecommerce businesses.
