T&S Brass Wins Prestigious Product Innovation Award

T&S Brass, a leading manufacturer of plumbing and foodservice equipment, has received a New Product Innovation Award from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).

The award, given for the company’s EC-3122-HG above-deck electronic sensor faucet with hydrogenerator, was announced on Monday, October 29th, during ASPE’s Convention and Exposition in Charlotte, N.C.  The 2012 awards recognized fifteen of the most exciting new products introduced to the plumbing industry in the past two years.

The EC-3122 is the newest above-deck electronic sensor faucet model in T&S’s popular ChekPoint™ sensor faucet line. Combined with a hydrogenerator which allows the faucet to power itself, the EC-3122-HG saves water and energy through significant features such as a water shut-off delay, auto timeout, sensor range adjustability and auto flush. Other special features include a manual mixing valve built into the faucet body itself, above-deck electronics and programmable controls, and a vandal-resistant aerator that flows at a rate of 2.2 gpm. The EC-3122 comes standard with AC (plug-in wall transformer with a split tail) and DC (four AA batteries) power options and the ability to gang up to eight units. Options include the hydrogenerator, as well as lower-flow aerators.

Says T&S Brass senior marketing product manager Richard Fahey, who presented the EC-3122-HG at the ASPE Exposition’s New Product Innovation Showcase, “Our sensor faucets and entire product line have been designed to meet the needs of plumbing engineers, so we are extremely pleased that ASPE has recognized the positive impact the EC-3122-HG will have on the plumbing industry. Its customization, easy installation and sustainability focus will allow entities from hospitals and stadiums to colleges and convenience stores to achieve substantial water, energy and labor cost savings.”

Designed with convenience, ease-of-maintenance, security and conservation in mind, the EC-3122-HG is, as are all T&S products that may carry potable water, lead-free. A superb choice for high traffic, infrequently monitored or sustainable-focused environments, it comes with a one-year warranty.
