One of the UK’s leading food service and retail equipment suppliers, Victor Manufacturing, has provided a range of heated and refrigerated display cabinets to bakery chain, Wenzels.
Wenzels, established since 1975, has refreshed the design of its 60 sites across North London, and wanted to install new display cabinets for both hot and cold food, along with high-capacity, multi-tier units, as part of this in-store redesign.
Victor Manufacturing provided a selection of products from its Evolution range of equipment to all refurbished sites, including refrigerated units to work in the high-ambient temperatures found in bakeries, along with heated units with the ability to hold a range of products including baked goods, paninis, pizzas and breakfast sandwiches.
Problem solving
Sarah Wenzel, general manager of Wenzels, said: “We offer hot breakfast sandwiches and required a unit to hold the bacon and sausages whilst being displayed. We’ve had problems holding slices of bacon in this environment in the past, but the Evolution units from Victor Manufacturing have solved this problem and look really good too. The Evolution range is the Aston Martin of display units.”
Victor Manufacturing collaborated with Nisbets on this project, which distributed the items from the Evolution range to the Wenzels stores.
