Electrolux Professional has launched the SkyLine PremiumS Ovens range: the culmination of the company’s 40 years of experience in engineering and developing high-performance, super intuitive and efficient combi ovens.
Based on a breakthrough combination of smart technology and human-centred design, the Electrolux SkyLine PremiumS range is born to set a new bar for foodservice equipment. The range is available in 6-10 and 20-grid options, and a choice of four different hood levels.
New innovations include OptiFlow, a revolutionary air circulation system which guarantees uniform heat distribution and constant temperature within the chamber; as well as a new Lambda sensor to provide ultra-precise, real-time humidity control across 101 different settings.
Cooking times are also improved thanks to a an innovative T-Xcelerator control which delivers rapid pre-heating, while a Dry-Xcelerator makes switching from humid to dry cooking conditions faster than ever. A triple glass door minimises energy loss during the cooking process, while a new eco-cooking mode can further cut running costs.
A brand new touch-screen user interface is also included on the SkyLine PremiumS. Operators are able to select from manual, pre-programmed and automatic cooking modes; while the most commonly-used functions can be grouped together on the new SkyHub homepage on the interface for fast access.
Highly flexible cleaning technology
The new ovens also include the unique SkyClean feature, which delivers fast, efficient and highly flexible cleaning technology; while also allowing operators to choose the best chemical solution for their needs, from a range of solid, liquid or a new ‘green’ 85% biodegradable enzymatic options. A built-in Green Spirit mode can also reduce water energy and chemical consumption by 30%.
What really sets the Skyline range apart from anything else on the market is its connectivity. Not only can it directly communicate with the newly-launched SkyLine ChillS range of blast chillers, but all data – from running costs through to recipe programming – can be remotely monitored 24/7 via Electrolux’s OnE online portal. This can provide a transparent insight into operational efficiency for kitchens with multiple appliance, or companies with multiple sites, such as the chain market, with the ultimate aim of increasing equipment uptime and maximising profit.
Ergonomics also formed a fundamental element of the R&D process for the Skyline range, with a view to providing as comfortable a working environment as possible (contributing to potential 75% reduction in sick leave and 25% increase in productivity for your business). The Skyline range is the only foodservice appliance to be recognised with Ergocert’s pioneering 4-star certified ergonomics.
