Rational Canada, the leading manufacturer of combi oven technology, has expanded its salesforce to 17 professionals working across Canada

“Commercial kitchens in Canada are facing a number of challenges as  rising labour costs put pressure on  profit margins,” says Louis-Philippe Audette, president, and CEO of RATIONAL Canada. “The RATIONAL SelfCookingCenter is a very attractive solution because it enables operators to reduce food, labour, energy, and water costs. More importantly, it improves the overall food quality and consistency providing customers with a better experience. These are some of the drivers behind the increased demand for RATIONAL combi steamers in the Canadian market.”

RATIONAL Canada has added more sales, culinary and service support across the country, especially in major cities, such as Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. They recently hired the seventeenth member of their salesforce and now have 34 employees total across the country.

RATIONAL AG increased worldwide revenue 15% in 2017, with North American subsidiaries contributing toward much of this success. RATIONAL Canada achieved top subsidiary status based on sales performance and market adoption.   RATIONAL is currently the market leader of combi oven technology in Canada and the world.

The innovative RATIONAL SelfCookingCenter revolutionizes the way commercial kitchens operate. To bridge the gap between traditional and combi cooking, RATIONAL Canada hires sales professionals with culinary backgrounds to help customers understand how combi technology will advance and benefit their kitchen operation.   Additionally, RATIONAL regional sales managers conducts several RATIONAL CookingLive events each month where they educate chefs, restaurant owners and foodservice operators on the capabilities and key benefits the SelfCookingCenter.

“After attending a RATIONAL CookingLive and tasting the difference, a high proportion of attendees opt to purchase, fueling demand,” shares Kevin Pelissier, RATIONAL Canada’s national corporate chef.

To learn more about RATIONAL products and services, you can attend one of the RATIONAL CookingLive events. They are free to attend and are happening every week across the country. Those who already own or work with RATIONAL are invited to attend free additional training at an upcoming RATIONAL Academy.
