Foodesign Associates Inc., the Charlotte, N.C.-based foodservice design agency have announced the addition of Nuong Nguyen-Chadwick as principal and project director. Nyugen-Chadwick, a native of Vietnam, has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial design, the last 12 of which have been spent in foodservice design.
“We hired Nuong because of her reputation of being an extremely hard worker, her excellent management skills and her expertise in [Autodesk] Revit [Architecture software],” said Kris Morphis FCSI, vice-president and principal. “I know that she could get us to the next level in a number of areas in our business and fill a number of gaps that we needed filled. I am extremely excited to have her join our team.”
Prior to joining Foodesign, Nyugen-Chadwick spent 10 years at Vision Builders and Design, where she was project director. She was responsible for the design of all foodservice projects, providing all space planning, including architectural interiors of kitchen spaces. She developed concepts and provided interior selections for dining and serving areas. She also was responsible for site review.
Before that Nyugen-Chadwick was architectural CAD manager at ADW Architects.
