Duke Manufacturing appoints new president and chief commercial officer

The leadership changes reflect Duke Manufacturing’s continued commitment to, and investment in, delivering impactful solutions and lasting customer partnership

Duke Manufacturing, a privately held, global foodservice equipment manufacturer, announced the appointment of Greg Hake as president and Nedra Sadorf as the company’s chief commercial officer (CCO).

This year marks a significant milestone for Duke Manufacturing as the company celebrates its 100th Anniversary. Jack Hake, owner and chairman, commented, “I am excited to share an important update about our leadership – an announcement that reflects both our commitment to growth and our dedication to building strong capabilities across our organization.”

Greg Hake is a third-generation member of the Hake family to be involved in the business. His vast experience serving on industry boards and associations, combined with expansive leadership roles within the company, have positioned him well for this appointment. Over the course of his 15 years with Duke, Hake’s leadership of diverse aspects of the business across both commercial and operational areas has provided a comprehensive perspective for ensuring delivery of value to our customers and employees. “Greg’s leadership reflects not only a deep respect for our history but also a clear vision for a thriving future,” said Duke CEO Dave Marvel.

Your Solutions Partner

Sadorf, who joined the company in 2023 as chief marketing officer, will partner with Greg in her new role as chief commercial officer. In this capacity, she will oversee Duke’s commercial organization, further integrating marketing, sales, customer care, service, and product management with customer experience strategies to reinforce the company’s position as “Your Solutions Partner” (TM). Prior to joining Duke, Sadorf served in multiple executive leadership positions, including 10 years in the K-12 education segment and 20 years in customer experience roles. In each of these assignments she has had a strategic focus on creating strong commercial capabilities that maximized delivery of value to customers.

“Under Nedra and Greg’s guidance, we aim to expand our capabilities, embrace new opportunities, and strengthen our position as a leader in our markets,” Marvel added. “They, and our entire team, are dedicated to nourishing not only our customers but also our employees and the communities that have supported us for the past century.”

Jack Hake emphasized the importance of continuity and leadership as Duke moves into its next century, stating, “Dave Marvel has played a pivotal role in shaping Duke’s strategic direction and fostering an enduring culture of care. Since assuming leadership, he has championed transformative initiatives that prioritize not only strengthening customer partnerships but also the well-being and development of our employees. His leadership has cultivated an environment where people feel valued, supported, and empowered – reinforcing our long-standing belief that success is built on a foundation of respect, collaboration, and service. Under Dave’s continued leadership as CEO, Duke remains at the forefront of innovation while strengthening the meaningful relationships that define our legacy.”

As Duke reflects on a century of excellence, its leadership remains focused on the future. “This transition is a shared opportunity, made possible by the dedication and expertise of our incredible team,” Marvel continued. “Together, we will build on our legacy and ensure that Duke remains a leader in innovation, service, and care for generations to come.”
