Local FCSI chapter donates $20,000

The money raised by the Northeast chapter of FCSI The Americas will go towards Massachusetts non-profit Community Servings and FCSI’s Educational Foundation

The Northeast chapter of FCSI The Americas celebrated its 14th annual Holiday Social in December 2017, marking the occasion with donations totaling $20,000.

Massachusetts non-profit, Community Servings was the event’s donor partner and recipient of $15,000. The local food and nutrition program provides services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families who are living with critical and chronic illnesses. Each day preparing and delivering lunch, dinner and a snack to 1,600 individuals and their families across 300 square miles throughout Massachusetts.

Next generation consultants

That same evening, The Northeast chapter presented an additional donation of $5,000 to FCSI’s Educational Foundation, an organization committed to working with FCSI members to secure the future of the foodservice consulting industry through nurturing the next generation of professional foodservice consultants
