S2O Consultants has announced that Alice Bils has joined the firm as project director. She brings 25 years of foodservice industry experience spanning large-scale dining operations, contract management, and commercial kitchen equipment project delivery.
Most recently, Bils served as director of contract and projects at Boelter, where she led delivery of a $36M+ commercial foodservice equipment portfolio from design through installation. She oversaw projects across the Midwest, leading a team of project managers and field managers.
Prior to working on the equipment side, Bils spent 20 years with leading food service operators, managing corporate, university, and senior living dining programs.
At S2O, she will serve on the leadership team both running projects and developing the younger staff, contributing to the goal of constant internal improvement and the long term viability of the company.
“Alice has run kitchens, and she has built them. That operator’s perspective, paired with her track record leading complex equipment projects, is exactly what our clients need. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team,” said Kristin Sedej, president of S2O Consultants.
“I’ve spent my career on both sides of the kitchen, operating foodservice programs and delivering the equipment that makes them work,” said Bils. “S2O’s commitment to thoughtful, practical design is a natural fit, and I’m excited to help clients build spaces that serve their teams and guests well for years to come.”
Bils holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and is ServSafe, TIPS, and CPR/First Aid certified. She is based in Chicago.
