In a new video series that addresses how operators, consultants and manufacturers alike are adapting to the new normal of foodservice amid a rapidly changing landscape, episode one focuses on 'People'
On Wednesday April 13, 2022, three leading FCSI Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) consultants, plus Martin Ubl, vice president and general manager from MKN, met for a virtual FCSI roundtable to discuss different ways foodservice businesses are relying on innovative products – and thinking – to not only survive, but thrive in a post-pandemic environment.
The first episode in FCSI’s Optimize for Success series focused on the subject of ‘People’, looking at why, whether it might be adopting AI-driven technology to manage labor shortages or sharpening soft skills in order to bring out the best from your operational team, people must always be at the heart of your foodservice operation.
The ‘roundtable also addressed how even people, and their output, can be optimized too.
Chaired by Michael Jones of FCSI’s Foodservice Consultant magazine, the roundtable saw leading consultants Anton Francois FCSI, François Hospitality Services; Daniel Louis Meili FCSI, EMBA, meili.ch; and Jürg Luginbühl FCSI, Flückiger Food Systems GmbH, discuss whether hospitality is still the ‘people-centric industry’ it used to be.
The roundtable, sponsored by MKN also takes in the subject of automation and looked at initiatives have our experts clients have put in place to ensure their employees feel valued and supported.
