Tricon retain Investors in People Standard

UK-based foodservice consultants Tricon have been awarded a silver accreditation award by Investors in People

Tricon Foodservice Consultants Ltd, the UK and Middle East’s largest specialist foodservice consultancy, have retained their silver accreditation award against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard.

“We are delighted to have retained our IIP Silver Status as it highlights us as one of the UK’s leading employers,” says Mike Coldicott, managing director of Tricon.

Established in 1991, Investors in People is focused on setting the standard for people management. Having grown from an organisation owned by the UK government to an international accreditor, the community has developed to encompass 14,000 organisations over 75 countries.

Great employer

“The Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success,” says Paul Devoy, head of investors in people.

The Standard, awarded by IIP, looks for three key criteria in their assessment of a company’s people management: leading and inspiring people, living the organisation’s values, and empowering and involving people.

“Tricon should be extremely proud of their achievement,” says Devoy.

Starting up in 1980, Tricon offer consultancy services for hospitality venues including the the Palace of Westminster, the Burj al Arab Dubai and NATO HQ in Brussels.

“As a consultancy, we truly are the sum of our people and we put trusted advice, insight and integrity at the heart of our culture,” explains Coldicott. “I believe this ethos has been recognised by this prestigious reward.”
