The Sounding Board – join the conversation

The new Foodservice Consultant series, ‘The Sounding Board’, is evolving, and we’re calling on you to be a part of it

In Foodservice Consultant, The Sounding Board is where we will be sharing insights from our allied partners in their own words, on key challenges, observations and trends arising in the industry. This prompts us to think about different approaches and perspectives with the aspiration of improving our industry for the better.

As The Sounding Board evolves, we’d love for you to be a part of it. Each week in the series, we will share industry insights from key professionals in the foodservice industry on LinkedIn, with a corresponding question inviting perspectives from consultants and industry colleagues in the comments. That’s where we invite you to share your perspective, expertise and learnings from experience, to keep the conversation going.

From aesthetics and efficiency to green energy and collaboration, our first instalment will be live soon. Keep an eye on this page, accessible via the QR code in your magazine, to join discussions as they go live, where you can add your own thoughts in the comments. We hope that sharing these perspectives will bring the FCSI community together to help spark new ideas and perhaps create new connections.

Have your say

We can’t wait to hear your thoughts and share them with the FCSI community and be sure to tag your colleagues and peers to keep the conversation going. Here’s what we have lined up so far:

Question 1: Where in an operation do speed and simplicity break down, and how could the right equipment choices help reduce labor dependency without sacrificing food quality? with Raoul Cervantes, consultant services and sales manager at Hatco.

Question 2: How does FCSI’s commitment to quality and accountability reinforce the importance of staying true to specification? with Steve Wright, senior director of strategic segments from Hoshizaki America.

Question 3: To what extent is design purely aesthetic, or the key player in how spaces function and connect people? with Giulia Spanio, general manager of Modbar.

Question 4: Do you believe sustainability means sacrificing guest experience? How can we better align the two? with Mathilde Perot, CMO, and international sales director at Adventys.

Watch out for the posts on LInkedIn where you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts on the questions.
