FCSI’s quarterly magazine Foodservice Consultant scooped an ‘Eddie’ award in recognition of achieving editorial excellence at the 2014 Folio Awards, held at the Yale Club in New York City on Thursday 11 December 2014. The award was given to Foodservice Consultant in the Association/Non-Profit (B-to-B) category.

Folio’s ‘Eddie and Ozzies’ awards ceremony is the largest awards competition in magazine publishing, this year garnering more than 2,800 entries and bestowing more than 140 awards. They are the only competition to honour both editorial and design teams with the Eddies recognising the highest standards achieved in editorial and the Ozzies rewarding excellence in magazine design.

The 2014 winners list was comprised of the biggest and most influential titles across the entire publishing spectrum. They are also the only competition open to all magazines: consumer, b-to-b, custom and association publications.

Other winning magazines at the awards ceremony included Bloomberg’s Real Estate Brief, PWC’s Strategy+Business, National Geographic Traveler, CFO magazine, PWC, Harvard Business Review, Time Inc’s Food & Wine, Conde Nast’s Architectural Digest and O, The Oprah magazine.

Foodservice Consultant also won two silvers at The Content Council’s Pearl Awards for Best Overall Editorial (B2B) and Best New Launch or Re-launch in November 2014 and was “Highly Commended” by the judging panel at the International Content Marketing Association (CMA) Awards in London in 2013. The magazine was also shortlisted for two awards, Editor of the Year and Art Director of the Year, at the 2014 British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME’s) Awards in London on 17 November in London.
