Burj Khalifa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Located on the 122nd floor of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, At.Mosphere sits two floors above the observation deck. The restaurant is right to sit top of our list, as it currently holds the Guinness World Record for “highest restaurant from ground level.”


Ding Xian

The Taipei 101, Taipei, Taiwan

Ding Xian 101 is a fine dining restaurant specializing in Taiwanese seafood dishes. It’s perched on the 86th floor of the Taipei 101, which was the tallest building in the world from 2004 until the completion of the Burj Khalifa in 2010.


The Ritz-Carlton

International Commerce Centre, Hong Kong

Tosca, an Italian restaurant, and Tin Lun Heen, which specialises in authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum sit loftily between the 102nd to 118th floors of the second tallest building in Hong Kong.



The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The first tower opened on 11 November 2012 making it the world’s tallest hotel standing at 355.35 metres. Floors 71st and 72nd are occupied by the Vault lounge.


The Metropolitan Club

Willis Tower, Chicago

The Metropolitan Club is located on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower,also once the tallest building in the world. Previously a members-only club, the restaurant is now open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
