Join FCSI The Americas Division at the NRA Show

Though FCSI won’t have an official presence at the show itself, there is a chance for members to network as usual

The Upper Midwest Chapter of FCSI The Americas will be hosting its annual networking reception during the NRA show. “We are once again hosting our Upper Midwest Chapter event on Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00pm at The Exchange venue; the same as 2022,” says FCSI The Americas executive director Wade Koehler. “Early registrations seem to be trending on a good turnout for our popular event.” The event will have food on offer alongside a cash bar and advance registrations will get a discounted ticket at $60 while paying on the door will cost $75.

“While FCSI The Americas doesn’t have anything at the show, we are partnering with the show management to offer CEU opportunities for their educational sessions,” adds Koehler. “FCSI consultants will be awarded certificates after the show from the NRA that will apply to FCSI CEU’s.”

He believes it is an interesting year for the National Restaurant Show from an FCSI point of view. “I’m interested to see how the NAFEM Show affects FCSI participation since this is the first post Covid year we have had both shows. The Show itself seems to want to be more collaborative with outside entities than in the past. FCSI The Americas hasn’t had much participation with the show for the past 5-7 years, but recent conversations have given me some hope this year will be a good show and possibly FCSI can create some sort of partnership with the show management for future shows,” he concludes.
