Watch: FCSI members at HostMilano discuss what the Society means to them

Recorded at the FCSI EAME booth at HostMilano 2025 the panel sees three FCSI members address why they joined the Society, why they value their membership – and why FCSI’s 70th Anniversary is worth celebrating

The FCSI EAME booth at HostMilano 2025 was a hive of activity, with four days of in-person presentations and moderated panels being recorded in front of attendees, which included Professional and Allied members, plus a broad range of industry partners. One such panel saw three leading consultants, with varying levels of tenure as members discuss what FCSI means to them, from a personal and professional perspective.

Recorded on October 17, 2025, the session was moderated by Michael Jones of FCSI’s Foodservice Consultant magazine and features the following participants:

  • Eric Norman FCSI, president, FCSI Worldwide
  • Marta Cebrián López FCSI, vice president, FCSI Iberia
  • Tim Smallwood FFCSI

A powerful group

“Two words come to me, when describing FCSI,” says Norman. “Professionalism and networking. To the latter point, I have lifelong friends and industry connections – people that have become very dear to me through my participation in the FCSI. On ‘professionalism’, we are a small group but we are a very powerful group of consultants and we hold ourselves to a high standard in the industry.”
