Watch: expert panel on why collaboration is key to success

The panel, supported by Turbo Air, addresses how to foster and maximize the relationship between all stakeholders on a foodservice project in order to deliver a better end-result for the customer

Recorded at FoodSpace®s test kitchen in Boise, Idaho, on September 9, 2025 as part of its ‘Pars & Paella’ event, and hosted by FCSI’s Foodservice Consultant magazine, this expert panel discussion is supported by Turbo Air. It sees leading consultants and a cutting-edge equipment manufacturer address why the best projects are invariably always the result of a partnership with an aligned, shared vision – not a collection of disparate workstreams with mixed objectives and outcomes.

The session was moderated by Michael Jones of FCSI’s Foodservice Consultant magazine and features the following participants:

  • Jen Hollenbeck (FCSI Associate), Foodspace
  • William Caruso FFCSI, Caruso/Scott & Associates
  • Bill Smith, Turbo Air

The optimal way

“We as a group – all the different partners in the chain – must work together. We have some partners that work together and others that work against us. And that does not benefit the owners, says Caruso. “Until the day when we can all see in one direction, the owner will not fare as well as they could in an optimal way.”
