Stephen Tyler is a Principal and partner in LTD Consulting Group Inc., formed in July 2001 through the merger of Nelson Hofer Associates and Legge and Associates, and is based in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. He has been a practising design consultant for 20 years and has held various foodservice management and operational positions prior to entering the consulting arena. Consulting efforts are focussed primarily in the design of institutional and commercial foodservice facilities in the University/College, Corporate Dining and Correctional sectors of the industry. He has earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, at the University of Guelph, specializing in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a diploma in Architectural Technology from Centennial College in Toronto. Steve has also taught Foodservice Facility Design on a sessional basis at the University of Guelph.
Beginning as a student, Steve has been a member of FCSI since 1987. He is currently serving on the North American Board of Trustees as Secretary/Treasurer and has served on the Executive of the Canadian Chapter for six years, including two as Chairman. Steve lives in Cambridge, Ontario with his wife, Christie, and two sons, Jason (14) and Marcus (10).
