Melanie joined 4xi Global Consulting in 2021 as the Lead Experience Design and Innovation consultant for their Design 4 Life of Amenity and Foodservice spaces.
Since 2000, Melanie owned and operated DynamikSpace and in 2019 launched 3.14DC focusing on front end planning and strategy. 3.14DC specializes in food service and urban agriculture strategic and feasibility related programming, planning, branding, design, layout, lease analysis, site selection, construction, and design management services. Collaborating with menu, equipment, and operations consultants, 3.14DC works with your team to create successful food hall strategies and programs – start to finish – large and small. Melanie’s education and background include; food service consultant, interior design and architecture, real estate, and market analysis in order to connect data into a usable document for strategy. Prior to starting Dynamik and 3.14DC, she has worked for international hospitality branding, architectural, and design firms, as well as, banking institutions.

Currently, Melanie is working with the Food Innovation Network to open their first food hall which will include food incubators from the local immigrant community, as well as, farmers markets to bring micro farmers produce to market.
In Addition to FCSI, Melanie is a Licensed NCARB Architect focusing on project and design management, planning and project strategy for ghost kitchens, mobile concepts, urban agriculture and vertical gardens, food halls, corporate dining, and restaurants. The focus is creating strategies for building owners, operators, and facilities.
