Matthew is an award winning food facility designer and has been involved in numerous hospitality and food service design and management consulting projects across North America and Hong Kong.
Matthew’s background includes operational experience in Hospitality and Tourism. Matthew worked as a Management Trainee for Fairmont Hotels including night club manager and special events coordinator at the Banff Springs Hotel and front desk clerk and supervisor, night auditor supervisor and Relief Night Manager at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
Matthew owned his own restaurant Ed s Bar and Grill in Calgary, Alberta. He was also General Manager of the Sailors Pub and Mariner Restaurant in Ontario Place – Toronto.
This hands-on operational experience combined with a BAA and MBA in Hospitality and Tourism and design and management consulting expertise provides an invaluable resource, offering clients insight into all areas of hospitality and food service management consulting and planning and design.
