Carl Kjellqvist was born in Ahus Sweden and is an honours graduate from the International Hotel Management Institute, Lucerne Switzerland and has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Having worked for leading hotel companies in Europe, Carl has gained unsurpassed operational experience in all facets of the food and beverage business.
Since 1995, he has lived in South East Asia, working alongside some of the industry’s most senior executives and entrepreneurs. Having travelled extensively throughout the world, he brings to the table not only an in-depth knowledge of the latest trends and concepts but has the ability to implement them operationally.
Some of the more recent projects include work with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Tourism Development Investment Company (TDIC), Starwood, Hilton, Kempinski, Emaar Hospitality, Accor / Sofitel as well as being the sole food service consultant for the recently opened Marina Bay Sands integrated casino resort in Singapore.
