New products from Vollrath and Stoelting showcased at The NAFEM Show 2019

Showcase highlights forward-thinking innovations in foodservice equipment and supplies

Vollrath Company is proud its newest induction unit – the Modular Induction Dry Well Drop-In, and its most recent innovation for frozen treats by Stoelting – the Companion Cart Portable Cleaning System, were showcased in the WHAT’S HOT! WHAT’S COOL!® What Works! Product Gallery at The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show, held from Feb. 7-10 in Orlando, Florida, at Orange County Convention Center.

Both Vollrath and Stoelting’s industry-leading products that bring creative proficiency to today’s foodservice operations were on display at booth 3212 throughout the show.

Modular Induction Dry Well Drop-In

Vollrath’s Modular Induction Dry Well Drop-Ins use induction technology to deliver superior hot food holding and precise temperature control in a waterless well. Offering unmatched flexibility, it is available in one, or as many as six wells. Each well contains two induction capsules for two warming zones per well. The zones can operate independently or be synched and run through a single control panel per well. Additionally, each well can accommodate both 2.5” and 4” pan depths with easily adjustable risers on the induction capsules.

Temperature/power control includes a temperature setting of 140◦-190◦F (60◦-88◦C) or choice of three power levels in order to maintain the freshness and quality of the food. The efficient temperature control results in less food waste and better food consistency. The wells can be cleaned with soap and water and the sealed well design contains spills and prevents them from reaching the more sensitive components of the unit. The Dry Well is NSF- and FCC-certified, UL-listed and comes with a one-year warranty.

Companion Cart Portable Cleaning System

Stoelting’s Companion Cart Portable Cleaning System is a self-contained cleaning system for frozen treat equipment. The cart comes in three styles depending on available utilities. Features include a direct connection to a water supply with a 50-foot hose, a battery powered water pump with a 15-gallon fresh water tank and grey water tank, and a Clean in Place option with a Hydra Rise system that controls the entire cleaning and sanitizing process with the press of a button. The Clean in Place system is NSF-approved, allows for a Regular Cleaning Interval without breaking down the machine and ensures a consistent cleaning process.

For cleanings that require part disassembly, the cart’s pairing with Stoelting’s Organized Hopper Cover makes the process even more efficient. The cover, which fits perfectly on the cart extendable counter space, features convenient individual part holders for the removable machine components, excluding the auger and front door. The easy-to-identify holders for each part are ideal for safe placement during cleaning and maintenance.
