Helix Solutions Group was recognized as Rep of the Year for their extraordinary determination to succeed during a difficult year for the foodservice industry. The award was presented during a virtual ceremony in late December.

“Helix partners Neal Hix and Greg Oplinger were focused and dedicated. They developed some really creative approaches to continue to deliver success during 2020,” said Mike Purcell, LTI vice president of sales and marketing.

“They demonstrated an unparalleled resolve, helping their partners like LTI also persevere through these tough times.”

Commitment to success

Helix Solutions Group is an independent manufacturers’ rep group covering territory across Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. The company was organized in 2018 and is based in Fairlawn, Ohio.

Luci McDuffie, commercial lender with United Community Bank, was presented with the Supplier of the Year award for her commitment to supporting LTI’s success, particularly amid the challenges of 2020.

“Beyond just partnering with us from a banking standpoint, Luci sought to truly understand our business and the difficulties we may have faced and to find ways to help us continue to thrive,” said Ben Casey, LTI’s president and CEO. “We’re grateful to be part of the local business community and proud to have this great financial partner along the way.”

Each year LTI recognizes a rep and supplier partner who demonstrate true partnership, creative engagement and a commitment to mutual success.
