Welbilt appoint new specification manager EMEA

Alistair Farquhar will work as part of the Business Development team, responsible for the development of the brand primarily within the UK and the Middle East

Welbilt has announced the appointment of Alistair Farquhar as specifications manager EMEA, consultants and projects effective as of November 2017. Working as a part of the Business Development team, Farquhar will be responsible for the development of the brand primarily within the UK and the Middle East.

Farquhar brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from within the industry, having previously worked at Ambarch – part of the Ali Group – as country manager for the UK. During his time at Ambarch, Farquhar was responsible for business development of the brand within the country. Prior to his last role, Farquhar was a national & key account manager at Electrolux Professional Foodservice where he handled major accounts in the UK, building and strengthening both new and existing customer relationships.

Expanding growth

In his new role at Welbilt, Farquhar will be a core member of the UK team, and will be looking to achieve specification of Welbilt equipment into consultants, hotel chains and targeted products, predominantly in the UK and Middle East markets where Welbilt is continuing to expand its growth.
