Mitchell Cohen has joined Middleby as group vice president of sales and marketing with responsibility for Blodgett, BKI, Perfect Fry and Marsal. In his new role he will lead sales efforts for all domestic chains and have responsibility for the dealer and sales representative business.
Additionally, Cohen will head the Middleby Retail Group, encompassing all of the Middleby brands in the segment.
“Mitch is well-respected by customers and has deep industry experience that will be a tremendous asset to all of the brands and sales channels at Middleby,” said Steve Spittle, group president. “His expertise within retail foodservice will help our efforts to expand market share in this fast-growing segment with all of the Middleby brands.”
Cohen joined Middleby as a vice president of sales for Carter-Hoffmann, Doyon and Nu-Vu before moving into his current senior leadership position. Previously he worked in executive sales positions for TriMark Marlinn and Unified Brands. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
