John Perruccio, Middleby Group president buying group and dealer relations, has announced the promotion of Jason Hall, CMC, to the position of vice president of sales and culinary for the Crown Steam Group representing the brands of Crown, Firex, and Market Forge.
In this new role Hall will expand from his culinary role to direct sales and selling strategies for the Crown Steam Group brands. Previously Hall was vice president of research and culinary for Crown, Firex and Southbend.
“Many of us know Jason from his chef talents being on display at the MIK and in many other kitchens, well-representing Middleby wherever he goes. He is also in one of a select few worldwide who has earned the Certified Master Chef designation, which reflects his deep knowledge and dedication to our industry,” says Perruccio.
Trusting relationships
“Jason has made a tremendous impact on our customers over the past seven years, and has strengthened the reputation of the brands he has represented,” adds Perruccio. “He has built trusting relationships with key operators and customers and his input has influenced the development of new product innovation with an emphasis on delivering top food quality, lowering ownership costs, reducing kitchen labor, and increasing operational volume.”
In his new, expanded role, Hall will continue to have influence over the development and design of the next generation of commercial kitchen products, focused on durability and technical advancements, says Perruccio. “With his years of experience in the kitchen and knowledge of food science and processes, his selling approach will benefit not only the steam brands, but all of the Middleby brands.”
