Hendi UK managing director Alex Shannon has paid tribute to one of the company’s co-founders and Commercial Director, Rien De Vries, following his sudden death.
According to Hendi UK De Vries passed away in his native Holland after a short illness.
Driven and inspiring
“In the years that he worked at Hendi, and subsequently as a key member of the Hendi UK family, we came to know Rien as a cheerful, driven and inspiring person,” said Shannon.
“His relentless energy was contagious and he was instrumental in the worldwide success of Hendi and, more recently, Hendi UK. Our thoughts are with his wife, children, family and friends at this sad time.”
