Management changes at PALUX AG

Torsten Hehner hgas been appointed to the PALUX AG executive board; CEO Erhard Ikas to leave the company at the end of November

PALUX AG has announced CEO and shareholder Erhard Ikas will resign from his position as of 30 November 2018 “in accordance with his long-term planned retirement succession strategy”. It is planned that Ikas will join the supervisory board of PALUX as of 1 January 2019 and take over its chairmanship.

In its most recent meeting, the supervisory board of PALUX has also appointed Torsten Hehner to the management board with effect from 1 November 2018. Hehner will assume responsibility for sales, marketing and human resources (HR).

With Ikas’ departure, Dr. Hilmar Rudloff will take over the main responsibility for R&D, production and order processing as well as spokesman of the board of directors. Ikas will continue to act as managing partner of GUSTATUS Holding GmbH and as managing director of the subsidiaries SERVATOR ServiceLine GmbH and CSS Catering System Services GmbH. Edmund Brenner will then become deputy chairman of the supervisory board.

Successful development

Torsten Hehner, 54, has been working for PALUX as head of international sales since 1 December 2015, successfully developing this sales area into more than 35 countries. The activities in Western Europe, in the Middle East as well as in Asia and in Australia look set to be expanded significantly, according to a company statement:

“In order to secure these activities in the long term, PALUX AG is now permanently represented by its own sales staff in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Chief executive officer Ikas is convinced that the now completed management board with Dr. Hilmar Rudloff, who has been a member of the management board since March 2017, and the extended management circle will successfully shape the future of PALUX AG.”
