Alto-Shaam, a leading innovator in the global foodservice equipment industry, has appointed Walter Antunes de Campos Neto as its new European executive corporate chef
In his new role, de Campos Neto is tasked with providing leading product training and customer support throughout Europe, demonstrating the capabilities of Alto-Shaam’s complete kitchen equipment solutions, as well as building relationships with a number of customers and partners throughout the region. He will also be responsible for leading the culinary kitchen including live cooking demonstrations at events and tradeshows across Europe and other geographical markets where necessary.
Prior to joining Alto-Shaam, de Campos Neto worked as a cooking teacher and chef de cuisine at the renowned Chefactory cooking academy in Florence. He taught Italian cuisine in four languages – Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese – to local and overseas students, while also being the professional training chef. Before this, he was responsible for developing and preparing balanced meals for an Italian Serie A football club.
He will report directly to European business development manager, Francesca La Chiusa. “I am pleased to welcome Walter to the Alto-Shaam family,” La Chiusa said. “He has demonstrated great experience and knowledge of the world of cuisine and fine dining.
