Alto-Shaam Appoints New Director of Consultant Services

Ryan Norman takes up newly created position to strengthen relationships

Alto-Shaam, a leading innovator in the global foodservice equipment industry, has promoted Ryan Norman to director of consultant services as part of restructuring plans that focus the organization on strengthening its relationships and support for the consultant community.

In this newly created position, Norman will be responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with design and management advisory consultants. He will also serve as the primary contact for national foodservice consultant organizations across North America.

Fantastic experience

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Norman joined Alto-Shaam in 2013 as a corporate executive chef and was promoted to regional culinary manager in 2016. Prior to working at Alto-Shaam, Norman was a foodservice consultant.

In his new role, Norman will report directly to Jack Scott, Alto-Shaam’s senior vice president of sales. Scott is an allied member trustee on the Board for Foodservice Consultants’ Society International (FCSI) of the Americas.

“I’m pleased to welcome Ryan into this new position,” said Scott. “Ryan has fantastic experience both within the foodservice industry and Alto-Shaam—making him the ideal candidate for this new role.”

Norman looks forward to supporting consultants:  “I am excited to get started and ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services – exceeding their expectations at every touch point.”
