AccuTemp’s Accu-Steam Griddle voted 2016 FCSI Product of the Year

AccuTemp Products’ Accu-Steam Griddle beat out nine other Innovation Showcase finalists to be named FCSI The Americas - Product of the Year at their biennial Conference held in Nashville, Tennessee

Prior to the April 14-16, 2016 Conference, Accu-Steam was one of ten Innovation Showcase finalists selected from entries submitted by FCSI The Americas Corporate Members. All entries were reviewed and finalists chosen by a panel of FCSI’s young and emerging consultants, as well as distinguished FCSI Fellows. During the Nashville Conference, all ten products were on display, demonstrated and information provided. Consultant members were asked to evaluate these Showcase finalists and cast a ballot for the most innovative product. When ballots were counted, the Accu-Steam Griddle was named the 2016 Product of the Year.

“AccuTemp is honored to receive this distinction from the FCSI The Americas for our unique steam-heated griddle,” says Dan Monfort, AccuTemp’s vice president, Consultant Services Division. “Having earned the FCSI’s Award for Distinguished Development in 2002, this latest recognition confirms our on-going mission of: Setting the standard for others to follow.”

More about the Accu-Steam Griddle

Accu-Steam is the only griddle that uses steam to transfer heat, delivers uniform surface temperatures at ± 3° F of set temperature, with recovery times of 10 seconds or less.

The griddle plate is heated by steam generated in a patented, hermetically sealed vacuum chamber below the griddle surface. This sealed steam system never needs water, cleaning or maintenance. Near-perfect uniform heating means no wasted griddle surface, higher production capacity per foot of griddle and more consistent and safely-cooked product.

The AccuTemp Griddle is available in both gas and electric heated 24-, 36- and 48-inch wide tabletop or stand mounted models, plus electric heated 36- and 48-inch drop-in models.
