2017 CEDABOND WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Cedabond, the leading buying group for catering equipment in the UK food industry, announces winners of the 2017 Cedabond Awards

Having received a record number of entries in 2017, Cedabond, the leading buying group for catering equipment in the UK food industry, has announced winners of the 2017 Cedabond Awards. The winners of the first three categories, presented at the annual networking dinner were:

  • Most Improved Supplier Light Equipment: DPS Tableware
  • Most Improved Supplier Heavy Equipment: Hobart Independent
  • Most Improved Member: Vision Commercial Kitchens

The fourth award, the Bob McNab Charity Award, was presented to Graham Massey. A Cedabond member for 32 years, Massey is part of the nationwide Street Pastors charity, offering much-needed support and medical assistance to the homeless and vulnerable. Massey is also a trustee on the South Devon Evangelical Trust, a regular volunteer at a children’s summer camp in Cornwall, and a Trustee for Eagles Mount Adventures, providing holiday camps for underprivileged mountain village children and orphans in China.

High calibre

“We are delighted to see the Cedabond Awards going from strength to strength and on that basis are excited to see what next year will bring. It was extremely difficult to select this year’s winners, not only because of the huge number of entries but also because of the extremely high calibre of them,” says Cedabond executive director Phil Martin.

“Firstly I would like to thank everyone who entered, and to congratulate all of our winners for their stellar performance this year. Secondly I would like to congratulate Graham Massey and ask him how he finds the time for all the magnificent work that he does while running one of the most respected companies in our industry. He is an example to us all.”
