Foodservice Future: A Brave New World
16-18 October 2008

FCSI Global Poster Programme Introduction

What is the FCSI Global Poster Programme?

A Poster is a means of illustrating the work of FCSI Foodservice Consultants from around the world, to the world; to answer the question “what is a Foodservices Consultant?” and what do they do?”

The Poster will provide a standard consistent format for contributions from consultants whatever their specialty, consultancy size, or country.

The FCSI Global Poster will be a major opportunity for public and peer recognition of your work and also provides FCSI with a valuable mechanism to promote foodservice consulting and commercial kitchen design to our industry and the community as a whole.

To participate in the programme FCSI Professional members are invited to create a poster that represents a successful project or assignment of significance to their office or to them as an individual that they would like to share.

The primary purpose of the programme is for the posters to be displayed at the World Wide conference. In addition each Division and Local Unit will be able to display the posters at events and at FCSI exhibition booths to provide examples of the work of FCSI members.

What is a Poster?

The poster will comprise a graphic illustration of the FCSI member’s work or a project; an illustrated case study that demonstrates the competencies of the consultant.

Posters should illustrate cutting-edge outcomes whether operating systems or design.

All posters will be in a standard size and in portrait format so as to ensure that all entries get equal billing as well as to maximize the impact of any display.

The intent is to explain the project. Keep it clear, simple, and understandable for non-foodservice consultants and your peers alike.

FCSI members are encouraged to develop a portfolio of posters over time as a means of consistently promoting their work to clients as well as the industry.

Each poster should proudly display the FCSI logo as a means of furthering the potential for FCSI brand recognition in the industry.
