Welcome to the FCSI Southern California/Nevada Chapter!
The California Nevada Chapter has only been in existence for one year and welcomes all FCSI Consultant and Corporate Members from California and Nevada to join us twice a year for events that qualify for continuing education credits. In addition to FCSI members, we encourage manufacturer representatives as well as prospective members to join us whenever possible. Our educational events have included presentations by local area experts on critically important subjects such as the new CAL CODE, HACCP and CEC Regulations for cold storage rooms.
Our first meeting, a year ago was held at the SCE facility in Irwindale, CA where Brass Smith made a presentation on the new proposed NSF Regulations on sneeze guards. Our second meeting, was held in August last year, was held in conjunction with the Western Foodservice and Hospitality Expo in Los Angeles. Most meetings are no more than a few hours in length and include plenty of time for networking via a reception and dinner.
