FCSI AWARDS:

In the past WW conferences have been the venue for presentation of several awards including:

The WW Board made a decision to maintain certain awards as WW presentations and leave it to the divisions as to whether they wish to offer others. FCSI will no longer be offering the FCSI Award for Excellence in Design or Management Advisory Services.

The Consultant magazine awards and service award remain worldwide awards. Product of the Year has been based on initial selection of innovative products by the Educational Foundation which then becomes the series entries in the "Innovation Showcase” for consultant members to vote on at the conference.

 

THE TRENDSETTER AWARD ( WORLDWIDE OR DIVISIONAL AWARD):

Presented on even years, this award is presented to an individual who best exemplifies innovation, creativity and unique and lasting contributions to the foodservice industry.

 

THE FCSI GREEN AWARD ( WORLDWIDE OR DIVISIONAL AWARD):

This award is currently being redefined by the CPS WW including the suggestion that it be renamed in terms of Sustainability…

 

FCSI SERVICE AWARD:

This award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated throughout the year extraordinary efforts in contributing to the betterment of the Society through dedication, commitment, loyalty, creativity, and enthusiastic service.

 

THE MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR AWARD:

Presented annually, this award recognizes Corporate Members of FCSI who have demonstrated exceptional innovation in product research, design, and development. The award salutes the company for best satisfying the foodservice industry's needs and contributing to the overall effectiveness in the areas of safety, operation and/or efficiency in customer service.

FCSI PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD:

The FCSI Product of the year is chosen from one of 10 finalists in the FCSI Educational Foundation's Innovation Showcase. It recognizes manufacturers whose commitment to research and development has resulted in a truly innovative product that is a clear leap forward for the foodservice industry. The 10 finalists are selected by a distinguished panel of FCSI Fellows and ICONs, and the winner is selected by majority vote of FCSI Consultant members attending the annual conference.

 

THE BEST ARTICLE AWARD:

All contributions to The Consultant deserve recognition, but each year two authors are selected for special honors. Awards are presented at the Annual Conference for the best manuscripts published the preceding year by a consultant member and an allied member.

 

AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN DESIGN:

Awards are presented annually to members in recognition of outstanding design projects completed within the previous two years. Awards are given in various categories mirroring industry segments and are judged by a recognized panel of member peers.

 

AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT ADVISORY SERVICES:

These awards are given to member consultants who demonstrate ability to create and implement concepts, initiate management systems, and provide innovative solutions to operational problems.
